This policy explains how Nyche Marketing, operating as Persona Audit (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use https://personaaudit.com.

1. Who We Are

Persona Audit is operated by Nyche Marketing, a sole proprietorship registered in Alberta, Canada. Our principal place of business is in Alberta, Canada. You can contact us at noreply@personaaudit.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

  • Account registration details (name, email address) via Clerk authentication
  • URLs and buyer persona descriptions you submit for auditing
  • Contact form submissions
  • Workshop registration details
  • Payment information — processed directly by Stripe; we do not store card numbers or banking details

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data (pages visited, features used, audit history) via Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Vercel Web Analytics
  • Performance data (page load metrics / Core Web Vitals) via Vercel Speed Insights
  • Session recordings and heatmaps via Microsoft Clarity — only after you accept cookies (see Section 7)
  • Error diagnostics via Sentry to detect and fix faults
  • Log data (IP address, browser type, referring URLs, timestamps)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)

Information from third parties

  • Authentication data from Google or other OAuth providers if you sign in via a social login

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Persona Audit service
  • To run AI-powered audits on URLs you submit
  • To send transactional emails (audit results, account notices)
  • To process payments via Stripe
  • To respond to support requests and contact form submissions
  • To analyse usage patterns and improve the product
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Legal Basis for Processing (PIPEDA / GDPR)

We process your personal information on the following bases: your consent (where required), performance of a contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the service, and compliance with applicable law. Canadian users have rights under PIPEDA. EU/EEA users have rights under GDPR including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account data and audit history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g., financial records).

6. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Clerk — authentication and user management
  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Supabase / PostgreSQL — database hosting
  • Vercel — application hosting
  • Anthropic (Claude) — AI analysis of submitted URLs and personas
  • Google Analytics & Search Console — usage analytics
  • Vercel Web Analytics & Speed Insights — traffic and performance measurement
  • Microsoft Clarity — session recording and heatmaps (loads only after cookie consent)
  • Sentry — error monitoring and diagnostics
  • Resend — transactional email delivery

Each third-party service operates under its own privacy policy. We only share data with these services as necessary to provide the Persona Audit service.

7. Cookies & Consent

We use cookies and similar technologies for three purposes:

  • Essential — required for the service to operate (authentication via Clerk, security, and your cookie preference itself). These are always active.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics and Vercel Web Analytics, used to understand usage and improve the product.
  • Session replay — Microsoft Clarity, which records interactions (clicks, scrolling, page navigation) to diagnose usability issues.

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you Accept or Decline non-essential cookies. Google Analytics runs in Consent Mode — analytics storage is denied by default and enabled only if you accept. Microsoft Clarity does not load at all unless you accept. Your choice is stored on your device; clear your browser storage to be asked again. Declining does not affect access to the service.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe and never stored on our servers. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Rights

You may contact us at noreply@personaaudit.com to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent
  • Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

10. Children's Privacy

Persona Audit is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or by a notice on the site. The effective date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
